As of this upcoming season (2012) we have a new head Chef taking up residence and presiding over the Chateau kitchen. Patrik Veit has recently moved back to the Czech Republic after prolonged residences in France and Spain. Our guests can rest assured that he shares our passion for fresh, local food.
The emphasis in our restaurant is on fresh produce and ingredients, sourced locally, and where possible taken from organic producers who care about their animals and the resulting final product. The menu will be constantly updated depending on what is in season, so our guests know what they are getting is fresh. Where possible, we will also be going “beyond organic”, where we will be able to pass on to our customers the exact source of their food, so they can go direct to the farm and see for themselves what it is they are eating and perhaps even take some produce home with them. We are passionate about our food and where it comes from, and we believe this shines through in the finished product.
On weekend nights and every night during the summer, we have live piano music accompanying you for dinner. In the grand hall, with a glass of local wine it lends to a lovely atmosphere.
