Accomodation

 All our rooms have the luxuriosly airy cielings and grand windows you would expect in a palace and are equipped with private bathrooms with bath and shower.  We are also happy to provide extra beds into double rooms upon request (subject to a surcharge).  Rooms are equipped with tea and coffee making facilities. All are located on the "piano nobile" first floor with views dependant on which wing the room is located.  If you gaze from the window out into the forest long enough you are likely to see squirrels jumping on the branches right in front of you, or rabbits, hares and deer foraging on the ground below.  

Being a historic building, all rooms are unique. Please have a look below at the various room types we offer so you can find the perfect one for you. If you are interested in hiring out the entire chateau and its grounds, we have 15 double rooms with the option of adding extra beds into most of these.


 

(6)Classic rooClassic roomms

All classic rooms are spacious (at least 18m2) and come with cloakroom/antechamber and private ensuite.  All have at least one large window overlooking the surounding area.



 

(1)Verona room
This room is similar to the standard rooms, however it has original wood panelled window enclaves and it is unique in the chateau in having its own private balcony. It is located in the south-east corner with a window overlooking the front courtyard, and the balcony overlooks the chateau terrace with a view of the iron mountains to our east.
 

 

(2)Suites:
Suite antechamber

The two suites comprise the central section of the western wing. It is these rooms alone that have windows facing inward onto thSuite Bedroome central courtyard, as well as outward into the forest, which from here is right at your fingertips. This bathes these rooms in light and allows a pleasant breeze to flow through. The rooms themselves each comprise of a cloakroom with adjacent bathroom and toilet, an antechamber with antique sofas and loungchairs and the bedroom with an antique double bed. Upon Suiterequest, the antechamber is suitable for introducing an extra bed or two for children/extra guests.

The superior rooms are very large on living space and give the feeling of staying in your own private palace. They have original wooden parquet floors and an original ceramic fireplace by which you can sit on authentic antique sofas and loungechairs. With 2-3 large windows providing lighting, these rooms are airy and spacious, with large bathrooms with his and hers basins to make life just that little bit easier.
